About Army Civilian Journal

Frank Wenzel

We’re establishing this Journal to provide a place for exchanging ideas to further the development of our current and aspiring Civilian leaders. We’re part of a team of over a quarter-million Army Civilians using skills in 500+ career paths worldwide. Whether your primary function is in contracting, finance, cybersecurity, engineering, training, or education, we all want to meet the current and future needs of our Army by fulfilling our leadership and management responsibilities and igniting the leadership potential of every Army Civilian.

Participating in this Journal-enabled discourse provides a venue for self-development through reflecting on the writings of others and through your opportunity to write and contribute to the Army-wide dialogue. We’re interested in both outside-the-box and inside-the-box ideas. It’s rare that the former immediately eliminates the latter. In fact, the conventional is often needed to institute what is initially viewed as revolutionary. Please accept my invitation to join the conversation by submitting your original work to the Journal’s editorial board. We look forward to hearing from you!
