Team Signal,
2024 was an extremely busy year for the Signal Regiment, and we are prepared to take on 2025 head on. As we sit
and reflect on the year that has passed, I would like to takea moment to acknowledge the hard work, dedication,
and resiliencethat each signal Soldier far and wide had demonstrated. The year of 2024 presented us with unique
challenges and opportunities, and Iam incredibly proud of how our regiment continues to adapt to changes in
order to remain “Watchful for the Country” In a world that is constantly evolving, especially in the realm
ofcommunication, your commitment to excellence has ensured that the Signal Corps remains ready and reliable and
at the forefront of all things Signal. Whether its signal support, MOS convergence, data literacy, or
SMART/MART, the team is postured and prepared to adjust as needed. Every successful mission, every message
delivered, and every connection made is testament to your skill and professionalism. It is your grit and
continuous grind that maintains and enhances the reputation of the Regiment. We are a force multiplier and are
absolutely essential to mission success. “They can talk about us, but they can’t talk without us.”
Over the past 12 months, we have continued to assess and adjust as needed to prepare our communicator for
large-scale combat operations. We have been committed to ensuring our junior Signaleers are equipped with the
skills to be extremely proficient while also emphasizing the importance of consistent development at the NCO,
warrant officer, and officer levels. This year, we not only expanded our technical capabilities but also
reinforced our bonds as a team. The collaborative spirit that we foster within the Regiment has allowed us to
adapt and innovate, ensuring that we are always prepared, trained, and postured to meet the demands placed upon
us. Whether it was through training exercises like Yama Sakura 87, multiple Warfighter Exercises, and numerous
Joint Readiness Training Center and National Training Center rotations, our Signaleers’ dedication to service
was evident.
As we moved full-steam ahead into 2025, I ask that you each take a moment to reflect on your contributions and
remind your teammates and our Soldiers how important they are. There is not one single mission or effort that
can be accomplished without the 25 series. Nothing will happen without the Army Communicators. TheSignal Corps
has been around for over 164 years, and we are currently 58,000 strong! There is nothing that will stop us from
“Getting the Message Through” – not even Hurricane Helene.
Thank you all for your hard work and unwavering dedication. I pray all of you had a wonderful holiday season and
a happy New Year. Together, let’s all do our part to ensure that the Signal Regiment continues to shinebright.
Together we are Signal Strong! Together we are Signal Proud!
