Professional Bulletin 1918 and Individual Articles
Articles created for Strength in Knowledge: The Warrant Officer Journal can encompass
a wide range of topics. Subjects for publication can include discussions on technical aspects of a specific
branch, the impact of doctrine, review of military history, or even theory or other matters that could
potentially improve the Army. No matter the subject, all potential writers must understand their submissions
be unclassified, publicly releasable in nature. Please ensure that article submissions are between 1,500
and 5,000 words and supported by research, evident through the citation of sources. Individual articles not
meant of Journal publication should be about 1000 words and lightly researched. Scholarship must conform to
commonly accepted research standards such as described in The Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association, 7th edition
Book Reviews
Book reviews should be between 500 to 800 words. The intent for a review is to and provide a concise
evaluation of the text and its relevance to the professional Warrant Officer or the current fight.

Submissions
Articles and manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word, or compatible format, with separate, author
owned or creative commons licensed picture files and a 100-150 word author’s note. We will published
articles individually and/or on a quarterly schedule. For additional information or to submit an article,
